Cow creamer

This little cow would originally have been used to add a drop of milk or cream to your cup of tea or coffee. In the 18th century the ceramics industry made all manner of milk jugs one of which was a novelty cow creamer which proved so popular that production continues to this day. Milk would be added to the hollow body of the cow through the hole in its back, the looped tail would act as a handle and the mouth as a spout.
